CUET 2024: Eligibility for Undergraduate Programs

  • Candidates should score a minimum of 50% marks in their +2 examination in the General category and 45% for SC/ST candidates.

  • Candidates who have completed the class 12 or equivalent examination can apply for CUET (UG) – 2024.
  • Even those currently in the process of appearing for the class 12 exams in 2024 are eligible.

 

CUET 2024: Age Limit

There is no age limit to appear for the CUET 2024 exam. However, the candidates must fulfil the educational qualifications to be eligible for the CUET 2024 exam.

CUET 2024 Nationality

There are a few requirements that candidates must meet to be eligible for the CUET 2024 exam:

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • A constituent subject of Nepal and  Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who landed in India before 1 January 1962 to make India their permanent residence and reside there permanently.
  •  Kenyans, Ugandans, Pakistanis, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Tanzanians, Ethiopians and people from Vietnam who permanently moved to India.

As long as the candidate fulfils the educational requirements, nationality, and other CUET 2024, they can appear for the exam. There is no set number of attempts in CUET. To attempt the CUET 2024 exam, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements.
